Strap yourself in for a high energy mix of Cabaret,
Satire and Comedy Improv.
From politics to pop-culture, music to gay marriage, nothing is off limits to the unscripted and wild comedy of HomoErratic.
Using ideas and suggestions from the audience, veteran improvisors Ed Reggi and Chris Parente craft a night of spontaneous and unforgettable GLBT Theatre.
Ed
Reggi was born and raised in the Big Apple, and knew he was a performer
the moment he met Bill Cosby outside the NBC studios. He spent his teenage
days sneaking onto the set of the famed Cosby Show to learn the ropes
from the comic master. Reggi pursued musical theatre at the University of
New York, and eventually found himself at the historic Second City.
Reggi began an intense study with Paul Sills, the father of improvisational
theatre. Today, Reggi travels around the States, performing improvised plays
and training actors. Critics have hailed Reggi as a cross between Jonathan
Winters and Robin Williams. His sharp queer humor has been seen
Internationally yet he still finds time to produce one of the largest Fringe
Festivals in the midwest.
Chris stole his first forbidden kiss on the very night Bill Clinton
was elected President. Those were the days. A year later, he graduated with
honors from Indiana University, having studied theatre and journalism.
Pursuing a career in broadcast news, Chris sharpened his improv skills with
coursework at Chicago's famed Second City. He has performed in hundreds
of improvised shows, including ensemble work with The Louisville Improvisors,
Project Improv, Running with Scissors, and Paper
Slip Theatre. Chris continues his television work, which has earned
him two Emmies for his broadcast reporting. He is currently an anchor and
reporter at a top fifty network affiliate. (Don't ask, Don't tell.)
